If you love FASHION+ART, Dover Street Market is just the ticket to quench your thirsty must-see, must-have eyes. Located at 160 Lexington Avenue (with other stores in London and Ginza) it is literally 7 floors of complete yumminess. Every inch and corner is visually outstanding whether it’s the collections (ranging from Prada to Supreme, Nike to Saint Laurent, Rick Owens to Commes des Garcons) or the oversized art installations that embellish the space from floor to ceiling. It’s like stepping into a whole other fantastical mash-up world that you won’t want to leave without at least a few souvenirs lol. Designer Rei Kawakubo describes it best as a “a kind of market where various creators from various fields gather together and encounter each other in an ongoing atmosphere of beautiful chaos: the mixing up and coming together of different kindred souls who all share a strong personal vision.”
Anyhoo, I am so happy to share the latest field trip photoshoot of Dover Street Market New York. There is also some exciting news happening in the Louis Vuitton shop on Oct. 15th, I can’t wait to see!!! Scroll through the photos for more info on that. We hope you enjoy! 😉
Thanks to the lovely and helpful people at Dover Street Market NY for letting us do our thing! The management and staff are as über cool as the venue.
PPS – I didn’t get to stop at Rose Bakery but an employee assured me it’s worth going back for. I shall check it out next time! Have you been? Let me know!! Let’s go together?
